Step-By-Step Windshield Cleaning Guide
- Start by pouring water on the outside of your windshield.
- Take a glass cleaning viper and wipe down the surface.
- Do the same on the inside of the windshield, but use a spray bottle to get water on the windshield’s surface.
- To the same spray bottle, add some rubbing alcohol and vinegar.
- Spray it evenly on the inside of the windshield and get it thoroughly wet.
- Use a lint-free microfiber cloth and wipe away the solution in circular motion.
- To finish off, wipe away in an upward and downward motion.
- Take your glass cleaning spray and spray it on the lint free micro-fiber rag.
- Wipe away what’s left of the vinyl outgassing grease and there you have it—a squeaky clean windshield that doesn’t affect your road visibility.
Some Tips to Keep It Shining For Long
Make sure to find a parking spot that gives your car some shade to keep it cooler. It will ensure that the plastic and vinyl dashboard doesn’t breakdown, preventing outgassing. This gas sticks to the inside of your windshield, creating a greasy film on it. If possible, roll down your windows a little to ensure fresh air has a way to enter the car, and these gases find a way to exit it.
